For 25 years, in Lo Mas de la Cuixota, we offer schools around the country a wide range of activities to raise awareness of children of all ages in the Delta de l'Ebre, starting with our traditions, to discover the most beautiful corners of our surroundings.
From Lo Mas de la Cuixota we want to transmit to the youngers, the values that our ancestors left us. How? By means the practice of traditional activities as in this case is the punting, where a monitor will introduce the boys and girls in the noble art of the boat propelled with the pole.
Undoubtedly rice and paddies are the jewels of the crown of the Delta del Ebro. The life of our ancestors has always revolved around this cereal, and that is why with this activity, we try to make a total immersion towards this culture so valuable for our territory. We want children to learn, feel, and value the hard work there are behind any plate of rice that they can eat at home.
There is no better way to discover and be in perfect harmony with the Delta del Ebro, than to take a bicycle and get into the multiple itineraries offered by the Natural Park.
Visit the lagoons, enjoy the different viewpoints, observe the flora and fauna of this idyllic environment, will create a special link between visitor and environment, which will allow you to assess more if possible, the ecosystem so special in which we are located.
The kayak is the perfect means of transport to be in total connection with environment. With this activity both children and adults can discover all corners of the multiple wet areas that we can find in the Delta, at a leisurely pace and without losing any detail of this rich ecosystem, and all this, without causing any impact in nature, a vital aspect for the sustainability of the Natural Park.
